OCBC Endorses Supervisor Janet Nguyen for Re-Election


IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - May 24, 2012) - Orange County Business Council (OCBC), the leading voice of business in Orange County, has endorsed Supervisor Janet Nguyen for re-election to the Orange County Board of Supervisors, District 1. Supervisor Nguyen is the first Asian-American and the first Vietnamese-American to serve on the Board of Supervisors, and recently served as Board Chair in 2010. Supervisor Nguyen currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), the Orange County Fire Authority, and Orange County Council of Governments, among others. Previously, she served as a Garden Grove City Council Member, as District Director in the California State Assembly and as Vice President of Government and Public Affairs for the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.
