Ocean City Home Bank and Celebrity Coaches Join Operation First Response to Help Wounded Soldiers

OCEAN CITY, NJ--(Marketwire - August 3, 2009) - On Wednesday, August 12, basketball coaches Phil Martelli, Geno Auriemma, Steve Lappas, Fran Dunphy, and Chris Ford will join Ocean City Home Bank President and Chief Executive Officer Steven E. Brady to pledge their support for Operation First Response, a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to wounded soldiers and their families.

The press conference will take place in the boardroom of Ocean City Home Bank, 105 Roosevelt Boulevard, Marmora, at 10:00 a.m., and will include a check presentation by Ocean City Home Bank.

"It's very easy to forget about service members once they return home from duty, but for wounded soldiers, the trauma of war does not end with the trip home," explained Steve Brady. "Operation First Response is providing a vital service to these heroes, and we hope that our donation, and the appearance of these legendary basketball coaches, helps to raise awareness of this worthwhile organization in Cape May County, and throughout Southern New Jersey."

The coaches appearing at the check presentation to offer their support of Operation First Response include:
