Oceanus: UK IT Company Establishes USA Presence

Oceanus Opens New US Subsidiary in Jacksonville, Florida

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - June 15, 2010) - UK IT company, Oceanus, (www.oceanus.co.uk) today announces the incorporation of Oceanus Operations Inc. in the United States. It is formed as a subsidiary of Oceanus Operating, Company Ltd enhancing the company's capability to provide seamless 24/7 service and support for their global customers. Oceanus Operations Inc. will be based in Jacksonville, Florida and provide, sales, marketing, training, project delivery and support of IBM®'s FileNet and heritage ECM suite of products; along with a specialised Business Intelligence Consultancy.

This comes on the back of Oceanus' recent acquisition of Australian IT company, Erilis earlier this month which provides IBM® FileNet® support and system delivery across the Asia Pacific region, whilst being the leading provider of educational services for the region. Oceanus is continuing to shape the future of large customer service environments through its expanding global presence and technology capabilities worldwide.

Oceanus Operations Inc. will be headed up by, CEO Greg McCormick who will lead an initial team of five key staff. McCormick has strong roots in the technology industry and in fact, started his first business and wrote his first software application when he was 16 years old. McCormick is considered a valuable contributor to the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) industry and is also a published author, and co-authored an IBM Red Book for the Content Management Product Suite entitled 'The IBM Enterprise Information Portal Cookbook.'
