Viola solo, men's choir, boy's choir and percussion.
The remarkable text of the Troparion, written by the great Byzantine
poetess-nun Cassiana, was the inspiration of The Myrrh-Bearer. The text
informed the architecture of the music. The viola solo represents Mary
Magdalen.

R. Vaughan Williams - Flos Campi for viola solo, choir and string
orchestra.


World premiere: Christos Hatzis

Premiere of a new version of Agnus Dei (originally a movement from Four Rituals for Percussion Quintet, Choir and Audience) for tenor saxophone, string orchestra, choir, percussion, organ and audience.
