Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival Attainably Priced for Fans

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT--(Marketwired - Aug 27, 2015) - The Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival kicks off Friday, August 28 in Kansas City and promises a tour of laughter, a bit of shock-value, and a whole lot of wonderful weirdness. The festival is set to hit stops from coast-to-coast through mid-October and boasts a lineup of comedy superstars such as comedy's woman-of-the-hour Amy Schumer, Parks and Rec alum Aziz Ansari, and stand-up veterans Dave Attell and Jeff Ross.

The Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival was first kicked-off in 2013 through the website Funny or Die, the site itself the brainchild of comedian and Saturday Night Live alum Will Ferrell and writer/director/comedian Adam McKay. Though only in its third year, the tour has seen great success and is a great venue for seeing both the biggest names in comedy and up-and-coming stars on the circuit. Joining the aforementioned household names are Anthony Jeselnik, Ashley Barnhill, Bridget Everett, Jay Pharoah, Jim Norton, John Mulaney, Michael Che, Nick Kroll, Nick Thune, Nikki Glaser, Rachel Feinstein, Rory Scovel, Sebastian Maniscalco, Tim Minchin, T.J. Miller and Todd Barry. The tour is set to run through October 18 in Dallas, TX.

Fans wanting to experience all the laughs and "curiosities" can expect to pay slightly more than last year's average price of $77 per ticket. According to TicketNetwork's Online Exchange*, a single ticket will set festival-goers back $87 each. The 18-stop tour promises coast-to-coast comedy that fans shouldn't miss. With these stars on the rise, it's likely that a chance to see these big names in comedy live won't come so easily in the future.
