Odebrecht Is a Winner in the RoSPa Awards 2014


CORAL GABLES, FL--(Marketwired - Aug 15, 2014) - Odebrecht USA is among the winners in the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2014. Odebrecht will receive its award at the Bronze level during a ceremony at the Hilton Glasgow on September 17.

Odebrecht was evaluated based on ten criteria including:

  • senior management involvement,
  • management of occupational health hazards,
  • workforce involvement,
  • selection and monitoring of contractors,
  • risk assessment integration into business processes,
  • communication of occupational health and safety issues,
  • monitoring of health and safety performance,
  • investigation and lessons learned processes,
  • benchmarking,
  • accident and incident data for the past five years.

Based on the aforementioned program criteria, Odebrecht was chosen by RoSPA to receive this prestigious award.
