TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - April 11, 2006) - Odyssey Resources Limited (TSX VENTURE:ODX) is pleased to report the remaining results from its confirmation drilling program at the Alous copper-silver deposit in Morocco. A total of 22 holes were drilled for a cumulative total of 1,042 metres; 11 in Zone A, 5 in Zone B and 6 in Zone C (please refer to the following map, posted on the Company's website: http://www.odysseyresources.com/AntiAtlas.htm). Samples were assayed at ALS Chemex Laboratories in Vancouver where the analytical procedure consists of pulverizing split samples followed by aqua regia digestion and atomic absorption finish. A quality control program consisting of duplicates, and standards were inserted into the sample stream.

All drill results are currently being synthesized and plotted, and compared with historic results from Occidental Minerals Limited's drilling campaign from the late 1960s. Based upon the results of this work the Company will determine if the historic data can be incorporated into a planned Independent Resource Estimate, or if additional independent drilling needs to be undertaken. This will be followed by the commissioning of a Scoping Study. Additionally, insights derived from this current round of drilling combined with the results of recent and planned fieldwork will constitute the basis for a first round of step-out and exploration drilling, planned for later this year.

Odyssey management is particularly pleased with the results of this drilling program and grateful to all Odyssey and outside personnel that contributed to its success. Alous and related copper-silver deposits, occurrences and tailings deposits in the Anti Atlas property remain a top priority for the Company, the exploration and development of which will be diligently pursued over the coming weeks and months.
