OEA Announces Transition in Leadership


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - March 30, 2016) - The Ontario Energy Association (OEA) Board of Directors announced today that Bob Huggard has tendered his resignation as President and Chief Executive Officer, taking effect on July 1, 2016.

"The OEA thanks Bob for his dedication and outstanding contributions over the past two years to the Association's membership and we wish him all the best as he embarks on his next chapter," said David McFadden, OEA Chair. "We will continue to work to shape our energy future for a stronger Ontario. Thanks to Bob's leadership the Association is in a position of strength with excellent staff, a strong board, and an engaged membership."

Representing a variety and diverse group of Ontario's energy leaders, the OEA continues to be an integral and influential part of energy policy development and government decision-making in Ontario. Bob will continue in his role through to July 1, 2016 as the OEA initiates its executive search.
