Office, Restaurants, Land and Homes Among Properties to Sell in May 24 Auction

BRISTOL, TN--(Marketwire - Apr 20, 2011) - Office buildings, restaurants, a mobile home park, commercial development land and home sites are among the properties in three states that will be sold at auction Tuesday, May 24, with Woltz & Associates managing the sale.

The auction includes properties in Bristol, Johnson City, Tenn., and Bluefield, W. Va. The properties are being sold as part of the ongoing liquidation of the Roy and Lois Bowie Estate in behalf of the family, according to Jim Woltz, president of the auction company.

"There's quite a bit of commercial property in this auction, including three office buildings in Bristol, as well as two restaurants," said Woltz.

The properties near Bluefield in Mercer County, W. Va. include a mobile home park with 29 sites, a home, and land parcels ranging from approximately 11 to 34 acres. "The West Virginia land has some good populations of deer and turkey and will make some excellent home sites," said Woltz.

Other properties include:

  • Three office buildings on Volunteer Parkway in Bristol County, Tenn.;
  • A restaurant and office building on Commonwealth Avenue, Bristol, Va.;
  • The Lighthouse restaurant on West State Street, Bristol, Tenn.;
  • A restaurant, office building and parking lot in Johnson City;
  • Approximately 32 acres along the New River State Park Trail in Pulaski County, Va.; and
  • 24 residential properties (20 unimproved) in the Glendale Estates subdivision in Bristol, Tenn.

The auction will begin at noon Tuesday, May 24, at the Holiday Inn on 3005 Linden Drive, Bristol, Va. Individuals seeking additional information about the properties may visit www.woltz.com or call 800-551-3588.
