The owners of la Tomate Blanche, l'Aurochs and Vestibule signe L'Aurochs open their fourth restaurant in Brossard's Quartier DIX30

BROSSARD, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Dec. 9, 2014) - Groupe Restos DIX30 is proud to be officially opening its latest concept restaurant: Café du Théâtre, on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. The group's fourth establishment, the Café du Théâtre is the South Shore's first such French brasserie to open its doors. Managed by Mr. Jason Minogue, the restaurant employs a total of more than 80 people in its kitchen (under the direction of Chef Rémi Morency), and in the front of house.

A First on the South Shore

Café du Théâtre offers some of France's greatest delicacies, including tartares, braises, bouillabaisses, and pastries, all with special attention paid to respecting tradition through classical cooking techniques. Chef Rémi Morency aims to please fans of French cuisine's purest form. Moreover, through extensive research, Café du Théâtre's team has built an original cocktail menu and offers privately imported French wines.

The space, almost 7,000 square feet, can accommodate up to 170 guests. The Café du Théâtre has a stunning décor over its two floors, surrounding a large wooden bar centerpiece; the interior design is signed by Pierre Brousseau and his team at Camdi Design. Guests' eyes will be drawn to the impressive wooden scaffolding throughout the entire restaurant. On the second floor, guests will enjoy an intimate space that invites them to enjoy a coffee or a cocktail, while relaxing with a book or a tablet in hand. The arrival of spring in May will be an opportunity to open the large terrace with its view of Place Extasia, located near the Étoile Banque Nationale and the Alt Hotel. Customers looking for fine products from France can visit the Café's boutique, where they will find cups, jams, terrines and upscale oils used throughout the menu for sale.

A Tempting Destination in a Booming Commercial Area

Located on Boulevard de Rome in Brossard, Café du Théâtre is in the heart of Quartier DIX30, a location of choice for Groupe Restos DIX30's owners Claude Labonté and his son Maxime. "For us, this is an incredibly strategic location, considering the fact that the population continues to grow around Quartier DIX30, and many office towers are already built or in planning. Our goal is to offer high quality restaurant alternatives to residents, workers and tourists in search of fine dining in the purest French tradition," said Claude Labonté, Chief Executive Officer of Groupe Restos DIX30.

Open seven days a week, Café du Théâtre offers breakfast and lunch menus on weekdays, and a brunch menu on weekends. The dinner menu is available as of 3 pm every day, with l'Apéritif à la française, a promotion featuring some of the best cocktails and house wines.
