Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide Acquires New Talent at Ogilvy Healthworld in New York


PARSIPPANY, NJ--(Marketwired - Nov 4, 2014) - Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide (www.ochww.com), the health behavior experts of Ogilvy & Mather (www.ogilvy.com), today announced two new hires at the network's New York-based agency, Ogilvy Healthworld.

Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide is a WPP company (NASDAQ: WPPGY) (www.wpp.com). The organization houses and maintains individual Ogilvy CommonHealth and Ogilvy Healthworld brand identities within the marketplace.

Raghu Desikan, a 25-year veteran in healthcare marketing, has returned to Ogilvy Healthworld as senior vice president, creative director, and will be charged with leading the various copywriting teams within the group. Immediately prior to rejoining Ogilvy Healthworld as a full-time employee, Mr. Desikan was a freelance copywriter for the agency. His most recent agency stint was at Publicis Life Brands Medicus, a full-service New York City-based healthcare advertising company, where he was employed as a creative director.

Brian Garino has joined Ogilvy Healthworld as director of analytics. Mr. Garino brings more than 18 years of econometric modeling, marketing research, and consulting experience as he heads the predictive analytics and consulting practices in his new position. Prior to joining Ogilvy Healthworld, he was employed at Geometry Global, an Ogilvy sister company (previously named OgilvyAction), the world's largest consumer behavior marketing agency located in New York City, where he oversaw an advanced analytics practice group.
