Ohio National University to Attend 2015 African Student Fairs Series

COLUMBUS, OH--(Marketwired - February 24, 2015) - Ohio National University (Ohio National) is proud to announce its attendance at the 2015 African Student Fair Series hosted throughout Eastern Africa in Kigali, Kampala, Dar es Salaam, Nairobi and Addis Ababa.

Focused primarily on providing online education to students around the world who seek an American degree but who often face the obstacle of cost and access, representatives of Ohio National, including Dr. Tom Hrubec, Dean of Academics, will be on hand to discuss how the university can help students earn an accredited American degree, in a manner that fits their schedule and budget.

Ohio National's competitive tuition rate ($133 per undergraduate credit hour or $198 per graduate credit hour) and students' ability to transfer previously earned credit allow Ohio National to provide access to a degree valued by employers around the world for roughly one-quarter the cost of similar online programs.

Representatives will be on hand at the following dates and locations to provide information and answer questions about Ohio National:

• March 2-3: Harmony Hotel, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
• March 6-7: Laico Regency Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya
• March 9-10: New Africa Hotel, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
• March 13-14: Hotel Africana, Kampala, Uganda
• March 16: Hotel des Mille Colline, Kigali, Rwanda

Ohio National offers accelerated academic tracks and friendly credit-transfer policies that streamline the path to earning a degree. Proven curriculum and programs are developed and taught by respected faculty. 

Students can select from the following degree options:

  • Bachelor of Science with a major in Business Administration offering four tracks: (i.e., General Business, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Human Resources Management, and Marketing)
  • Bachelor of Science - Information Technology
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Courses are eight weeks in length with six terms starting each year in approximately: January, March, May, July, September and November.
