Oil Optimization Announces Changes to Its Board

Oil Optimization Inc. (TSX VENTURE:OOI) (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Jo-Anne Archibald to its board of directors. Mrs. Archibald is President of DSA Corporate Services Inc., and has over thirty years of corporate governance, investor relations and marketing experience with Canadian public companies. Mrs. Archibald previously served as a senior vice-president at the TMX Equicom Group Inc. in Toronto and earned an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University.

This appointment fills the seat formerly held by Mr. Douglas Fletcher, who was unable to run for re-election. The board is very grateful for Mr. Fletcher's valuable contribution and looks forward to his continued involvement with the Company as an independent advisor on legal and financial matters.
