Oil Optimization Concludes Royalty Agreement on Thailand Assets

Oil Optimization Inc. (TSX VENTURE:OOI) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has concluded a gross overriding royalty agreement with Rockstone Petroleum BVI Limited ("RPL"). The Company will transfer ownership of its wholly-owned subsidiary, JSX Energy Holdings BVI Limited ("JSX"), to RPL for a 10% gross overriding royalty on all future oil & gas discoveries made in JSX's 500,000 acre petroleum concession onshore Thailand, known as Block L14/50. As sole owner of JSX, RPL will assume all legal, operational and funding responsibilities going forward.

Singapore-based EP Global Limited earlier informed the Company of its inability to satisfy closing conditions stipulated in the agreement that it entered into with the Company, last extended on November 10, 2015, and a mutual decision was reached to release all parties to the agreement without liability or further obligation to the other.
