Old Guys Rule Becomes a "Hot" Commodity Just in Time for the Holidays

Founder Named One of Orange County's "25 Hottest" of 2010; New Holiday Collection Line-Up Announced

SAN CLEMENTE, CA--(Marketwire - November 9, 2010) -  The man who created a lifestyle brand that resonates as a badge of honor among men "of a certain age" around the world has been named one of the hottest in the trend and innovation capital of Orange County, California.

Don Craig, who founded Old Guys Rule in 2003 as a way to honor the wisdom of his father and to help other mature men celebrate their life accomplishments, was selected as one of the Hottest 25 People in Orange County by Churm Media's OC Metro Magazine. In just seven years, the brand can now be found at approximately 1,400 retail locations in the U.S., the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

The Hottest 25 awards, now in its 21st year, were also given to luminaries such as: Colin Badin, CEO, Oakley; Rick Hadley, CEO, Hawaiian Springs bottled water; Mo Honarkar, CEO and president, Verizon 4G Wireless; and the "Magnificent Six," who despite physical and financial challenges, scaled Mount Everest.

The collection also includes new designs for its popular John Wayne Collection, of which a percentage of each purchase is donated to the John Wayne Cancer Foundation. Since 2008, more than $100,000 has been raised for the foundation, whose mission is to bring courage, strength and grit to the fight against cancer.

  • The launch of the brand's new super-soft, French Terry V-neck sweat shirts, each embroidered with a subtle, tonal left-chest logo and available in several colors.
  • Completely new, finely sanded brush twill cap embellished with a debossed and weathered leather patch.
