ole Wins 9th Consecutive CCMA Award for Music Publishing Company of the Year; ole writers Gord Bamford and Phil O'Donnell Named Songwriters of the Year

ole and ole-affiliated songwriters win total of seven awards

ole made history at this year's Canadian Country Music Awards on Sunday, September 13, claiming the longest win streak of any publisher, major or independent, by taking home its ninth consecutive Music Publishing Company of the Year Award. ole songwriters Gord Bamford, Phil O'Donnell, Jeremy Stover and Lindi Ortega also fared well at the ceremony, resulting in a total of seven wins for ole and ole-affiliated acts. ole co-founder, Chairman and CEO Robert Ott was also honored with the Leonard T. Rambeau International Award, which recognizes an individual who has demonstrated extraordinary effort in assisting the aims and initiatives of the Canadian country music industry internationally. He was presented with the award at a private industry event held earlier in CCMA Country Music Week.

Bamford added to his impressive collection of CCMA trophies, including honors for Male Artist of the Year, as well as Single of the Year and Songwriter of the Year for "Where a Farm Used to Be," which he co-wrote with recent ole signing Phil O'Donnell. Lindi Ortega took home the Roots Artist of the Year award, and three of the five Album of the Year nominations had contributions from ole writers, including the winner, Lifted by Dallas Smith - Jeremy Stover co-wrote the title track.
