Olympic Speedskater Arjen van der Kieft Loves Wellness International Network's Top-Quality Products

PLANO, TX--(Marketwire - February 25, 2010) -  Powered by Wellness International Network's top-quality products, speed skater Arjen van der Kieft made his Olympic debut competing in the 10,000-meter race during the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games.

To help him stay physical and mentally sharp for such a grueling and competitive race, Arjen uses Wellness International Network products including Winrgy®, Sure2Endure, WINOmeg3complex, Phyto-Vite® and WINCoQ10.

"WIN's products are the products I recommend most for speedskating. I love Winrgy®, and when I don't use it, it's a lot harder to focus on my technique and speed," shares Arjen, who represented the Netherlands and skated against the new Olympic record holder, Seung-Hoon Lee. "Speedskating is not only about conditioning and being strong, you have to concentrate on how to skate. The rest of the products help me have more energy and stay healthy. It's important to be fit and healthy all the time as a skater."

His Olympic dreams became a reality in December 2009 when he qualified with a personal best time of 13:02.99 in the 10,000 meters. "It's a dream come true to compete in my sport at the Olympics," shares Arjen. "When I was young, about 12 years old, I first watched the Olympics on television. I was already speedskating competitively at that time. During the last season, it became a real possibility to go to the Olympics, and now I have reached my goal!"

Arjen, a two-time Dutch junior champion, has successfully trained and won medals all over the world. "With WIN's products, I have no problems with all the different time zones," shares Arjen. He won the Gruno Cup in February 2009 with a time of 13:45.45. After a year of taking WIN's high-quality products along with his grueling training, Arjen's time in the 10,000 meters improved by 43 seconds as his Olympic qualifying time nearly reached 13 minutes. "I noticed my body recovered a bit quicker after my training," shares Arjen, who is looking forward to his next 10,000m race at the World Allround Skating Championships in Heerenveen, the Netherlands. "I also lost nine pounds within a very short time. Quicker recovery after training and less weight naturally had a positive effect on my performance."
