OmniComm Systems Inc.'s Signed Contracts Jump to 1.7 Million Dollars in Third Quarter; Year to Date Total Over 3.5 Million Dollars

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 3, 2005 -- OmniComm Systems, Inc. (OTC BB: OMCM), one of the fastest growing companies in the EDC marketplace, announced today that booked contracts in the third quarter 2005 exceeded those of fiscal 2004.

OmniComm Systems, Inc. (OMCM), a leader in the rapidly growing EDC market, completed a record third quarter 2005. The third quarter continues the trend experienced in the first half of fiscal 2005 when the Company broke its sales records for both the first and second quarters.

"With first quarter contracts of 850,000 dollars and second quarter contracts of approximately 1.05 million dollars, we are clearly on the right track," said Rusty Beardsley, OmniComm's Executive Vice President of Commercial Development. "In the 3rd quarter a dozen new contracts were won from existing as well as five new clients. This accelerates the sales pace of the first half of 2005. We are on pace with our sales expectations and we expect the fourth quarter performance to continue the exponential sales trends we are experiencing. We are receiving enthusiastic feedback from our clients regarding the way they can quickly and easily export their data and reports by themselves without being charged additional fees and having to wait for weeks. This in addition to unmatched trial setup time is creating a growing pipeline. Sponsors are beginning to realize there is a better alternative to some of the inflexible, high-priced solutions currently available."

"The accelerating increase in work is especially rewarding and a clear indication that OmniComm's outstanding technology is being discovered and appreciated by pharmaceutical, medical device and biotech companies as well as by an increasing number of CROs and Academic Research Institutions," said Randy Smith, CTO and founder of OmniComm. "This increase in business is not a surprise as we have designed TrialMaster® and our internal work flow processes to scale easily during this growth period. The automated tools that we have created allow us to meet the increasing demand without having to scale up our resources in a linear fashion which helps to keep our cost down and our customers happy."

Rusty Beardsley added, "We are aggressively looking to hire several additional Business Development colleagues in order to provide additional sales penetration in core geographic markets. To complement the direct selling effort, we will be completing several strategic alliances in the U.S. as well as abroad in order to expand OmniComm System's international presence."
