Omnify Software Helps XEI Scientific Improve Profitability Despite Economy

Growing Company Keeps Overhead Costs Down and Product Quality up With Product Lifecycle Management

As an emerging company, XEI Scientific had a small staff, heavy workload and limited bandwidth. They did not have time to organize product data, leaving it scattered across multiple computers and in different formats. XEI was looking for a way to bring order to their product information and instill disciplines to make sure they had a solid product development process in place.

The company determined that Product Lifecycle Management software would address their needs. XEI has reported that one of the biggest returns on investment with implementing Omnify was a significant savings in overhead which helped the company to remain profitable in the down economy. "Without Omnify we would need to increase our headcount [with the addition of at least one documentation clerk] and office space to have and maintain the control of information we get using Omnify," said Mr. Bermheim.
