Omnnea Wireless (Omnnea) to Launch Vehicle Tracking GPS Systems With Arabic Language Mapping Features

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - February 4, 2011) - In a move to address the lack of native language vehicle tracking and navigation support, data and wireless communication provider Omnnea is launching a vehicle tracking and GPS system with both Arabic & English languages maps of Iraq. The program has been in development since early 2010 and is intended to deploy to users by Q1 2011.

Omnnea's GPS system was designed with the intention of giving customers the ability to control fuel usage, maximize scheduling potential, monitor driver activities, enhance overall efficiency and most importantly address security concerns in Iraq. Omnnea's native language mapping systems will allow for unprecedented ease of use and accessibility among both Arabic and English speaking users. Real Time 24/7/365 monitoring will allow fleet owners within Iraq to exercise more precise control over their vehicles and more accurately assess the need for task specific security provisions. Dr. Faisal Fadul, Omnnea's CEO, stated, "We integrated Omnnea's GPS to work with Omnnea's CDMA network to bring cost down for all potential users in Iraq. Omnnea's GPS is designed to be used by individual users, small businesses, corporate and government agencies."
