Oncology Services International Announces Significant Expansion of Training and Testing Center

MONTEBELLO, NY--(Marketwired - Mar 27, 2015) - Oncology Services International (OSI), the world's leading independent service organization for radiation oncology devices, today announced the grand opening of its new linear accelerator training and testing center.

"OSI is committed to delivering the highest level of service to our customers and our expanded facility in Lakewood, NJ further invests in our Field Service Engineering team," stated Richard J. Hall, President and CEO. "We have always been proud of the technical skills of our 50-plus Field Service Engineers who serve more than 200 linear accelerator sites coast to coast in the U.S. This facility, which includes the only testing vault owned and operated by an independent service provider, will enhance their hands-on training."

Hall added, "The testing vault combined with multiple dedicated training machines demonstrates OSI's commitment to ongoing training and cross training, and solidifies our position as the industry leader for delivering a more cost-effective alternative to OEM service."

Earlier in March, OSI conducted its annual training symposium, bringing together its entire team for a weekend of intense hands-on training. The curriculum included 24 course topics given in 40 sessions. Coupled with its online OSI Academy, OSI provides comprehensive training and certification for its own team, as well as other independent firms worldwide.
