Oncology Services International and Maintenance Value Plan Announce Strategic Alliance

MONTEBELLO, NY--(Marketwired - Sep 4, 2013) -  Oncology Services International (OSI), and Maintenance Value Plan (MVP) today announced a strategic alliance to better serve radiation oncology facilities. MVP and OSI will promote both company's services as a turnkey solution for facilities seeking a way to underwrite the risk associated with time and materials service.

"Some customers prefer a time and materials relationship when servicing their radiation therapy equipment. For these customers, the MVP product provides financial protection by underwriting the risk associated with not having a full service contract," said Richard J. Hall, President and CEO of OSI. "This strategic alliance provides our customers with a truly beneficial financial arrangement offering them protection and service value to maximize savings."

The MVP strategic alliance extends the breadth and flexibility of OSI's products and services. As the largest independent service organization in radiation oncology, OSI is committed to service solutions that fit every customer circumstance.

"We are excited to partner with OSI in promoting cost-effective choices for our MVP clients. They are the clear leader in this highly specialized service market, and their value proposition enhances the savings enjoyed by our clients," commented George F. Mann III, Chief Executive Officer of MVP.

Hall concluded, "Our leadership position has been achieved by focusing on the full breadth of customer preferences. This strategic alliance helps us best serve the market segment seeking alternatives to traditional full service agreements."
