"One Amazing Event" is Back Again for 2011

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - July 27, 2011) - That was how a participant in 2010 described the event called One Yoga in the Park. It is back and better than ever this year on Sunday August 7, 2011. It is the biggest karmic yoga event in the city.

Jay Baydala, Executive Director of UEnd says "We love One Yoga in the Park because it is an easy way for the everyday person to get involved in helping end poverty. The idea behind karmic yoga meshes perfectly with UEnd: poverty. All anyone has to do is show up, give a small donation as entrance fee and practice their yoga.

One Yoga in the Park is supporting Bulungula Water Infrastructure Project this year. It is an innovative project in South Africa using solar power technology to bring irrigation to the fields; fields that support the local essential oil farming cooperative started as an economic development project in this very rural part of Africa.

Our sponsors this year are John Labun (of Laterra Ventures), Access Health Benefits and Yogamat.com.

Baydala finishes "our yoga teachers come from a variety of studios in Calgary, representing a variety of practices so everyone can feel comfortable regardless of their abilities or ages. It is an inviting atmosphere and a place to connect with like minded folks wanting to do their part to help change the world."

You and your crew are invited to not only partake in the activities, but to photograph, video and interview.
