AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - Jan 28, 2013) - One Source Networks (OSN), the managed voice, data and cloud services provider and network partner of choice for large enterprises, announced today that Jim Tipton has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer, effective January 10, 2013.
Tipton brings over 23 years of experience in executive roles across finance, accounting, and management, with achievements that have included creating positive cash flow, raising capital, hiring and developing high-performing teams, defining reporting programs, and M&A advisement and integration.

Prior to One Source Networks, Tipton was Controller for Xtreme Power, Inc., an energy storage solution provider, where he helped the company achieve a #15 ranking on the 2011 Inc. 500 list, with 8,423% growth in revenue. Before his tenure at Xtreme, Tipton served as Managing Director of Finance at nGenera Corporation (now Moxie Software), leading the acquisition and integration of six software and services companies representing $100 million in annual revenue within the company's first 12 months of Series A funding. Tipton was also Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President at OnFiber Communications where he was a key member of the executive team that managed day-to-day operations and the strategic direction of the company, as well the sale of OnFiber to Qwest (now CenturyLink) for $134 million.

Tipton began his career at Price Waterhouse, LLP (now PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP), where he was Audit Manager of the Technology Practice Group. Other roles and responsibilities he has held include Controller for ConnectSouth Communications, Inc. and Corporate Controller for DuPont Photomasks (now Toppan Photomasks), where he was a key participant in the $70 million IPO process and led the $80 million follow-on S-3 offering plus 144 private placement offering activities.
