One World Sports Secures Exclusive North American Multi-Platform Rights for Chinese Football Association Super League (CSL)

SINGAPORE and DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - May 10, 2011) - One World Sports, an international sports network with a focus on Asia, has secured exclusive North American rights to the Chinese Football Association Super League (CSL) under terms of an agreement signed with World Sport Group. The CSL season began April 1 and will end November 2. One World Sports will carry weekly games on television, broadband and mobile.

The CSL is the highest and most prestigious level of professional soccer in China and football is the most regularly watched sport on television. The league has 16 teams with four clubs -- Tianjin Teda, Hangzhou Greentown, Shandong Luneng FC and Shanghai Shenhua -- competing in this year's AFC Champions League, Asia's premier club competition. One Media Corp's acquisition of the CSL media rights follows its other recent broadcast deals for the Korean K-League, Japanese J. League, AFC Champions League and the live broadcast of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011 this past January.

"We are pleased to have One World Sports providing live coverage of China's top professional football competition, the Chinese Super League, in North America on TV, broadband and mobile devices," said Mark Hardess, President, ASEAN and Australia, World Sport Group. "This is part of our commitment to extend coverage of the league to wider audiences around the world."

"The Chinese Super League rights secures our dominant and exclusive position in delivering the three best soccer leagues in Asia to US audiences," said Preston Bornman, President, One Media Corp, parent company of One World Sports. "As with our other great soccer and sport products, the CSL will be available live on TV, broadband and mobile to U.S. sports fans."
