One of World's Largest Communications Holding Companies Selects Kinetic Data's Service Request Management Tool to Support Its U.S. Government Service Contract

Kinetic Request Will Give Site Administrators a Direct Avenue of Contact to the Telecom Provider's Support Team During the Implementation and Ongoing Maintenance of a New IP Phone System

ST. PAUL, MN--(Marketwire - May 31, 2011) - Kinetic Data (http://www.kineticdata.com), provider of third-party business service management (BSM) tools built on the BMC Remedy Action Request (AR) System platform, announced that one of the world's largest communications holding companies will use Kinetic Request to create service request management portals to be used during the implementation of a new IP phone system at 600+ U.S. federal government sites, as well as for ongoing support after the rollout is complete.

Service request management (SRM) portals are the most technologically advanced method to manage web-based customer service, support and issue resolution in an enterprise environment. Kinetic Request is deployed at Fortune 500 companies, federal government agencies, and by major service providers to streamline the entire support process and reduce the number of interactions that take place. This efficiency results in fewer man-hours spent resolving issues, yielding significant cost savings.

According to John Sundberg, president of Kinetic Data, Kinetic Request will give every government site administrator a direct avenue of contact to the telecom provider's implementation support team. The application makes it easy for both IT and non-IT users to build request portals, which are significantly more efficient tools for managing service delivery and issue resolution than traditional emails, phone calls, and face-to-face meetings.

"We're hearing from our service provider clients that they love how easy it is to deploy Kinetic Request," said Sundberg. "They take on these huge, mission-critical service projects, and with service portals they can resolve issues really quickly. That's exactly what request management tools should do."

Kinetic Data was awarded a United States General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule 70 contract, number GS-35F-0554T, in 2007. The contract authorizes Kinetic Data to provide software products, support, training and consulting services to the U.S. federal government.
