March 07, 2016 20:00 ET Advances Its Free, Open Source Software Stack for Mobile and IoT Analytics With Addition of Google BigQuery Support for MongoDB

Any Semi-Structured Data Source Now Capable of Being Queried in Google Cloud or Amazon Cloud Using SQL or Visualized Using FB React

BURLINGAME, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 7, 2016) - Open source analytics software company announced today that it has added support for MongoDB data being automatically ETL processed and loaded for SQL query into Google BigQuery.

"We have a vision that developers should have complete freedom of choice with respect to how they capture and store their semi-structured data and where they query and visualize it," said Jorge Chang, CTO of OneFold.

OneFold's product, Big Data Warehouse, leverages cloud computing and query engines like Google BigQuery and Amazon Redshift to enable developers to analyze their data using SQL and visualization software without writing any code.

While closed source software companies charge for analytics based on data points captured, OneFold is free and developers simply have to pay for their own cloud computing costs.

"I am a big user of MongoDB and I really like Google BigQuery for its speed and scale," said Raghav Rastogi, a data scientist at GotIt!, a top edu marketplace app. "Since OneFold is open source and I was using it anyway, I decided to add support for ETL of MongoDB data into Google BigQuery."
