Third Annual Event to Be Held January 12-14, 2010, in San Francisco

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - October 6, 2009) - OneMedPlace (www.onemedplace.com) announced today that its "OneMedForum 2010" (www.onemedplace.com/onemedforum/) finance conference for emerging healthcare and life science companies will be held January 12-14, 2010, in San Francisco at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel. The goal of the third annual OneMedForum event is to continue to be a vital resource for emerging healthcare/life science companies and healthcare/life science-focused investors. Toward that end, the three-day OneMedForum event will include industry-focused panel sessions, numerous networking opportunities, and more than 100 company presentations. Additionally, the third day of the conference will focus on the Health IT sector and will include panels discussing the product areas likely to attract the most capital in 2010, as well as investor presentations from 25 of the sector's most promising emerging companies.

"This very special event serves a crucial need in linking promising young companies with corporate, institutional, venture and private equity investors," said Casey McGlynn (www.wsgr.com/wsgr/DBIndex.aspx?SectionName=attorneys/BIOS/127.htm), Co-Chairman of the OneMedForum Advisory Committee and Chair of the Life Sciences practice at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosatti, a recognized leader among national law firms that specialize in venture-financed medical technology companies.

"No doubt, San Francisco is the place to be in early January if you're in the healthcare and life science industries," added Brett Johnson (www.onemedplace.com/about/team.php), President of OneMedPlace, organizer of the OneMedForum event. "An overwhelming majority of the country's healthcare and life science executives and investors attend the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference -- which will be held, literally, across the street from our event. But OneMedForum is quite unique because we concentrate on emerging private companies and small cap public companies that typically aren't able to participate in annual JP Morgan event.

"If you are the CEO of an emerging healthcare/life science company, or an investor who is looking to uncover 'the next big thing' in healthcare or the life sciences, then OneMedForum is the place for you on January 12th through the 14th, 2010," said Johnson. "Throughout the three-day OneMedForum event, promising private companies and public companies with market caps below $500 million and limited research coverage will be making formal presentations. For weeks now we've been reaching out aggressively to our investor network to identify the most promising healthcare and life science companies to invite to participate. We've confirmed many of the companies initially chosen by our advisory board, and we're more than three months ahead of the conference, so OneMedForum is shaping up to be a very successful event."
