OnePoint Patient Care Launches Next-Day Prescription Delivery, Begins Serving Indiana's Horizon Hospice Care Inc.

OnePoint to Provide Horizon Hospice Reliable, Next-Day Prescription Delivery With Streamlined System of Clinical Intelligence and Cost Management

CHICAGO, IL and DANVILLE, IN--(Marketwire - October 1, 2009) - OnePoint Patient Care, an independent hospice pharmacy services provider, announced today that it has expanded its services by launching next-day medication delivery to hospices in Indiana and Wisconsin, and that it has partnered with Horizon Hospice Care Inc. of Danville, Ind., to provide this new next-day service to Horizon's patients.

In addition, OnePoint will provide Horizon Hospice cost management and clinical intelligence programs to streamline how it manages treatment, costs and compliance with complex regulations, allowing Horizon's clinical and management team to concentrate on providing superior, compassionate care to its patients.

OnePoint currently provides same-day prescription delivery to hospice patients in markets where it has local pharmacies and dedicated delivery fleets, including Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Nevada and Oklahoma. By adding this new next-day service for hospices in other states, OnePoint is making available its 24-hour accessibility, world-class personal service, superior clinical support and cost management assistance to an entirely new audience of potential hospice partners that otherwise do not have access to such services. OnePoint plans to expand this service offering to other underserved states in the coming months.
