Online Auctions Company, Flutteroo Celebrate 1 Year Anniversary

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - May 21, 2010) - The successful pay per bid auctions website, Flutteroo, is toasting its achievements since it began a year ago, with its launch six months after. The team behind the privately funded business have a lot to celebrate as the site has been a hit in providing fun, money-saving auctions.

The company, based in West London, combine traditional retailing with skill, strategy and fun. Led by Dave Hobday, previously from a senior management and marketing background for companies including Procter & Gamble, Sportingbet, HBOS and Telewest, they have blazed an impressive trail within just a year. They set themselves apart from other auction sites by offering three different ways to win bargains; penny auctions, lowest unique bid auctions and price drop auctions, which have all proved extremely popular with players.

Reaching the 1 year mark is a great milestone for Flutteroo, who have achieved big things in just a year and promise to go on and do even more. In a relatively short space of time, they have registered over 40,000 players, closed and won over 5000 auctions and the average discounts enjoyed by winning players so far are in excess of 90%.

They have also struck up partnerships with the Daily Star and Express, which as a result have brought auction games to their websites and widened their reach, plus there is also a recent deal with T3, which will be launching in the immediate future.
