OnShift Selects Intacct for Cloud-Based Accounting and Financial Management

Intacct Helps Healthcare Software Vendor Automate Billing and Revenue Management, and Increase Visibility Into Company Performance

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - April 4, 2011) - Intacct, a leader in cloud financial management and accounting software, today announced that OnShift, a leading provider of staff scheduling and shift management software for the healthcare industry, has implemented Intacct. The move will enable OnShift, which increased customer acquisition by more than 500 percent last year, to automate its critical billing, revenue management and financial reporting functions -- saving the company significant time and money. OnShift will also use Intacct's built-in integration with salesforce.com to streamline its quote to cash processes.

Rapid growth, a desire for streamlined financial processes and a need to automate manual processes were the drivers that made OnShift upgrade from QuickBooks to Intacct. One of the critical needs for OnShift was gaining the ability to automate the management of billing and revenue. The accounting team had been calculating recognized revenue in spreadsheets and then making corresponding manual journal entries in QuickBooks. These off-line manual processes were time-consuming.

With Intacct, OnShift can now easily define reusable revenue recognition templates and rules, and Intacct will automatically generate amortization schedules and apply them across contracts, orders or line items. Revenue recognition becomes completely automated, saving OnShift time and effort.
