ONSITE3 Releases eView 2.0 Review Platform for Increased Productivity of Attorney Document Review

Features Industry's Most Advanced Workflow Management Capabilities for Large and Complex Attorney Review Processes

ARLINGTON, VA--(Marketwire - July 9, 2008) - ONSITE3™, a leading global provider of litigation support and electronic evidence solutions for law firms and corporations, today announced general availability of its eView™ 2.0 review platform. The new eView release features the industry's most advanced workflow management capabilities for streamlining and productivity tracking of large and complex attorney review processes.

"ONSITE3 is revolutionizing the way document review is conducted," said Robert Ballou, chief executive officer, ONSITE3. "Until now, available review tools on the market have forced clients into a linear style review process. Our eView 2.0 release enables clients to configure the review tool to fit their unique business processes, including a virtually limitless combination of roles and responsibilities. The eView platform allows our clients to effectively minimize risk and control the costs associated with complex litigation and regulatory compliance."

"At Jones Day, quality review tools are paramount. ONSITE3's eView offers the functionality and responsiveness that makes it our primary go-to platform for complex litigation document review. We have been eagerly awaiting the release of Version 2.0," said Katie Rogers, litigation support project manager, Jones Day.

"eView stands apart from other review tools primarily with its flexible, client configuration and ability to handle a much greater variety of review processes than is possible with other tools available today. eView supports virtually any review style from simple linear approaches or parallel reviews involving simultaneous sequential, non-sequential, and bi-directional workflows," said Debra Rozier, vice president of ASP services, ONSITE3.

"Legal teams, which are increasingly challenged by time constraints and limited resources, are becoming ever more selective about the review tools they use," said George J. Socha, principal analyst with Socha Consulting. "One of the gaps in review tools up to this point has been the lack of support for complex, parallel style workflows. A real need exists for the capability to manage multiple types of workflows within a cohesive and productive review process."

eView 2.0 enables better management of workflow and productivity through the following capabilities:

-- Highly Flexible Review Workflows: eView now enables clients to manage
multiple review teams and allows for added depth in the levels of review
beyond the traditional 1st and 2nd levels, extending to 3rd, 4th, 5th, and
so on. This multi-team functionality can support parallel style reviews
where different teams (most often 2nd level review teams) can review the
same set of documents simultaneously for different kinds of issues. In
addition, these workflows can be utilized in sequential, non-sequential, or
bi-directional order for a fully customizable and flexible approach to the
    review process.
-- Comprehensive Productivity Metrics: eView includes an extensive and
customizable range of productivity metrics and reports to provide clients
with real-time visibility into the review process. Clients can utilize
eView to diagnose productivity drivers and manage course corrections as
needed to maintain tight control over review costs.
-- Unparalleled Efficiency for Document Review: eView supports a more
efficient document review process by giving clients the ability to perform
a variety of administrative tasks themselves -- including customization of
tags on the fly, creation of inclusive and exclusive tagging rules,
creation of new folders, assigning individual reviewers, and organizing
data as needed. eView also enables clients to automate conflict checking of
review tags for more consistent tagging results, thus minimizing the need
for manual quality control processes while also increasing the quality and
    efficiency of productions.
-- Customizable Batch Sizes: eView enables clients to customize batch
sizes for each level of review. For example, eView can facilitate larger
batches for 1st level teams that tend to review documents more rapidly,
while also providing smaller populations of documents for 2nd level teams
that generally conduct more focused reviews.
-- Multi-Role User Profiles: eView permits individual users to serve more
than one role within the same review project through an innovative profile
login process -- eliminating the need for each user to manage multiple
passwords. Furthermore, user profiles are based on pre-defined role types
within eView that are designed to help clients quickly set up review
projects and to present each user with only the information and features
typically required for their assigned project role (i.e. 1st Reviewer, 2nd
Reviewer, Privilege Reviewer, etc.). Client administrators can also add or
remove rights and privileges from the pre-defined role types in order to
customize these roles to meet specific requirements of the case or client.
The ability to tailor roles has the added benefit of increasing the
productivity and integrity of the review process.
-- Easy to Adjust User Interface: The eView user interface can also be
easily adjusted by individual users to suit their unique work style
preferences for the layout of information within each role (or profile)
assigned to them. For added convenience, these adjustments are persistently
retained between sessions, thus facilitating greater ease-of-use and
    productivity for each user.
