Ontario SPCA Announces a Turning Point for Addressing Animal Cruelty in Ontario


NEWMARKET, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - May 13, 2014) - The Ontario SPCA and our provincial Community partners are inviting members of the media to attend the Provincial Office of the Ontario SPCA, where information about Operation V.A.L.U.E will be provided. Operation V.A.L.U.E - Vulnerable Animals Left Unattended Everyday.

Location: Ontario SPCA Provincial Office, 16586 Woodbine Ave Newmarket, Ontario, on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at 10:30 a.m.

The Ontario SPCA and it's provincial partners are working together to address animal cruelty concerns across Ontario. Members of the media will play a key role in assisting in their coverage of this very important announcement.

Participating partners consist of the Ontario Association Chiefs of Police, Ontario Provincial Police, Toronto Police Service, York Regional Police, Peel Crime Stoppers, Ontario Veterinary Medical Association and the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians. Spokespeople from the Ontario SPCA along with some of our participating partners will be available to speak to the media.
