The Ontario SPCA Thanks the Public for Their Support of the Case Involving a German Sheppard Dog Named Buddy

SUDBURY, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 12, 2012) - Last week the Sudbury and District Community were introduced to a remarkable dog named Buddy. Sadly his introduction was due to a severe case of animal cruelty; Buddy was found after having been shot in the face.

Buddy required intensive surgeries. Remarkably, the dog survived his surgeries but sadly succumbed to his injuries a few days later.

An investigation was started the moment an act of animal cruelty was evident. In order for Buddy to receive justice, we must follow the legal process - starting with the investigation which is currently underway. The Ontario SPCA has been working diligently on Buddy's case with the assistance of the OPP.

The Ontario SPCA appreciates all the support they have received from the community. Updates will be provided to the public accordingly.

If you have any information on Buddy please contact the Sudbury & District SPCA 705-566-9582.
