OnTrace Announces 2011-12 Board of Directors

Bruce Saunders as New Chair

GUELPH, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 1, 2011) -OnTrace Agri-food Traceability, is pleased to announce the following changes to the Board of Directors following the Annual General Meeting on May 25, 2011 in Guelph, Ontario.

Bruce Saunders has been acclaimed new Chair of OnTrace (Bruce is Past Chair, Dairy Farmers of Ontario). Bette Jean Crews, (Chair, Ontario Federation of Agriculture) was acclaimed Vice-Chair of the Company. Both have been members of the OnTrace Board since the Company's inception in 2006. Brian Sterling continues as Chief Executive Officer.

The Board also created the position of Past President, which will be designated at the discretion of the Board. Curtiss Littlejohn (Curtiss is Past Chair, Ontario Pork) now becomes Past President of the Company. The Board of OnTrace would like to take this opportunity to thank Curtiss for his contributions as Board Chair from 2006 to 2011, as well as thank Vel Evans (Equine Canada) and Denton Hoffman (Ginseng Ontario) who are two other Board members leaving this year.

The OnTrace Board is an inclusive one that reflects the diversity of the agriculture and agri-food industry in Ontario.
