Oomba Inc. Appoints Ken Hubbard to Board of Directors

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - December 19, 2013) - Oomba Inc. ("Oomba" or "the Company"), a specialized social media company that is creating an interactive social network for tournaments, leagues, teams, athletes and gamers, announced today that Ken Hubbard, CEO of The Charity Golf Association (CGA), has joined its Board of Directors.

Oomba is partnering with the CGA to help organize and broadcast their charity golf events through its internet broadcasting channel -- Oomba.tv. "Oomba brings the quality of Hollywood production to the sports and games we all play. The CGA is looking forward to our partnership with Oomba as we deliver our celebrity golf events for community charities across America," Mr. Hubbard said.

Biography

Mr. Hubbard, CEO of The Charity Golf Association, the first sustainable giving organization (SGO) in the US, builds events around golf that give to multiple charities through every event without the non-profits expending any financial or human resources. He is also the president of Private Capital Network, an international Angel Investor network with over 700 active investors.

As a principal in Laurus West, a strategic investment firm, Mr. Hubbard has been instrumental in packaging and positioning companies for investment as well as partnerships. Recently, he has been working with a core team to develop Wegloo, a family specific social site.

Prior to May 2010, Hubbard served as founder and CEO of InteliCloud, a converged network hardware/software platform. Mr. Hubbard served as vice president of sales and marketing at Quad Research, a converged network platform manufacturer, where he created an innovative strategy for the regional-to-global roll out of a new hardware to telecommunications companies, spearheading the strategies and efforts of PR, marketing, branding and sales for the product launch.
