Open Source ECM Vendor Nuxeo Expands Document Intake Capabilities With ReadSoft Partnership

PARIS and BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - February 23, 2010) - Nuxeo, the Open Source Enterprise Content Management (ECM) company, and ReadSoft, a leading provider of global document process automation solutions, today announced an international partnership to develop a new connector to seamlessly integrate hard copy data with Nuxeo open source document management solutions. Integration of ReadSoft and the Nuxeo ECM platform is expected to be available in the second quarter of 2010.

Once scanned, any hard copy document -- archive or "living" -- will be easily integrated in the Nuxeo repository. ReadSoft solutions recognize the type of document, such as claim, subscription, invoice, purchase order, and capture key data, such as invoice amount or contract or invoice numbers, from those documents. Once captured, this data can be added to the document repository of Nuxeo, accordingly with internal indexing policies and can also be added to other applications from the information system, such as ERP, CRM or more.
