Opengear Strengthens Channel Commitment in the U.S. With New Hire

Industry Veteran Cynthia Dahlin Joins Opengear as Channel Manager for the United States


SANDY, UT--(Marketwired - Jul 2, 2013) - Opengear (www.opengear.com), a leading provider of critical infrastructure management solutions through advanced console servers, remote management, monitoring, and cellular out-of-band products, today announced the hiring of Cynthia Dahlin as the Channel Manager for the United States. A sales and channel management professional with more than 15 years' experience in the technology sector, Dahlin will be tasked with building relationships with reseller partners and continuing Opengear's strong channel growth. Dahlin will work with resellers to provide business planning, training tools, and timely access to information that helps Opengear's channel partners better serve the remote infrastructure management needs of their customers.

Dahlin comes to Opengear from VBrick Systems, an enterprise IP video company where she served as the company's Channel Enablement Manager. While there, Dahlin spearheaded VBrick's Channel Partner Certification Programs and handled the on-boarding for approximately 30 globally-distributed resellers. Prior to VBrick, Dahlin spent over six years at Polycom, the multinational telepresence and voice communication solution provider. She held several channel-related positions at Polycom, including almost four years as Polycom's Channel Manager for videoconference, VoIP, and unified communication products. Dahlin earned a B.A. in Marketing and Finance at Boston College.
