OpenLogic and Nuxeo Partner to Support Integrated Open Source Enterprise Content Management Stack

BROOMFIELD, CO--(Marketwire - September 15, 2009) - OpenLogic, Inc., a provider of enterprise open source software solutions encompassing hundreds of open source packages, and Nuxeo, an open source enterprise content management (ECM) software and services provider, today announced they are partnering to provide top to bottom support on a robust ECM stack, which includes Nuxeo's Enterprise Platform, the JBoss application server and the PostgreSQL database.

By supporting a specific stack of enterprise-grade technologies, Nuxeo and OpenLogic are offering optimal support to businesses of all sizes for one of the fastest growing open source ECM alternatives on the market that rivals the depth of functionality provided by proprietary vendors.

"Nuxeo is a flexible, customizable open source ECM platform that competes with more expensive proprietary software solutions such as Documentum and LiveLink. The Nuxeo Enterprise Platform is increasingly integrated with a set of common, proven open source technology that OpenLogic supports," said Eric Barroca, CEO of Nuxeo. "Our partnership with OpenLogic enables us to sell globally a fully supported and integrated ECM stack including the application server and the database."

As a part of this announcement:

-- OpenLogic is adding Nuxeo to the OpenLogic Certified Library, which
contains a wide range of open source applications and infrastructure.
-- Both OpenLogic and Nuxeo will sell and provide front line support for
the fully integrated Nuxeo ECM Stack, which includes JBoss and PostgreSQL.
-- Support is available at a variety of service levels. Pricing for
support on the Nuxeo ECM Stack starts at $30,000 per year for business
    hours support.
-- OpenLogic and Nuxeo will also offer a workgroup edition of the Nuxeo
ECM Stack which provides up to 10 support incidents for a price starting at
    $9,000 per year.

"When customers buy support for open source applications, they expect support on the infrastructure components that the applications depend on. Open source vendors like Nuxeo partner with OpenLogic to provide that top to bottom support," said Steve Grandchamp, CEO of OpenLogic. "We can help Nuxeo focus on their core business, increase their sales and improve support to their customers."

Nuxeo's services are available through Nuxeo Connect, which delivers enterprise-grade functional and technical support, certified software patches and updates, and management tools to information during every stage of the application life cycle -- from design and development, through testing and deployment, to operations and monitoring.
