Optical Experts Discuss Trends at 2011 ECOC Conference in New JDSU Segment

MILPITAS, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 29, 2011) - JDSU (NASDAQ: JDSU) (TSX: JDU) today announced a new segment for its Industry View campaign that highlights JDSU experts and customers as they discuss topics including 100G and next generation networks at the annual European Conference and Exhibition on Optical Communications (ECOC) 2011 held last week in Geneva, Switzerland.

At the ECOC conference, JDSU also announced a suite of new optical products to enable Self Aware Networks of the future and new modules for 40G network transmissions. The products are being designed to support the growing volume of high-bandwidth and unpredictable traffic flooding networks as people and businesses increasingly use on demand applications such as video as part of their daily lives.
