OpTier Appoints Former CA Executive Bryan Painter as Vice President of Sales for the Americas

Painter Brings More Than a Decade of Experience in Application Performance Management and Service Assurance to the Company

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - March 15, 2011) - OpTier™, the leader in Business Transaction Management (BTM) for the enterprise, today announced the appointment of Bryan Painter as vice president of sales for the Americas. Painter brings more than a decade of sales and management experience in IT software and services, including a deep knowledge of application performance management and service assurance solutions to OpTier. He will be responsible for managing the Company's sales efforts and customer relations in North and South America and will report to Colin Rowland, OpTier's senior vice president of worldwide sales.

Prior to OpTier, Painter served in various sales roles at CA Technologies where he was most recently responsible for managing the company's service assurance business in the eastern U.S. While at CA, Painter also held the position of east area director of application solution sales in which he was responsible for running CA's application performance management business unit. Under Painter's direction in 2010, the company experienced strong year-over-year (YOY) revenue growth in the east region and its largest sales quarter in area sales history. Painter's sales team also increased the total number of sales transactions and grew the customer base significantly.

Before his career with CA, Painter held sales positions with StorageNetworks, NetTel and Cintas Corporation. He studied strategic management at the University of California, San Diego, and earned a B.A. in marketing at John Carroll University.
