Optimal Announces Preliminary Unaudited 2007 Year End Results

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 13, 2007) - Optimal Geomatics Inc. (TSX VENTURE:OPG) ("Optimal"), a geomatics solutions provider to engineering and geospatial professionals, announces its preliminary unaudited results for the fiscal year ended October 31, 2007. The company's unaudited revenues were $15.5 million for the year and its unaudited net loss was $2.7 million. Unaudited revenues for the three months ended October 31, 2007 were $3.8 million and the unaudited net loss incurred was $973 thousand. Also during 2007, notable management changes included the departure of the Chief Technology Officer; the Director of Energy; the Director of Transportation; and the Software Development Manager.
