  • Oracle's solution consisted of Oracle WebLogic Server 12c and Oracle Database 12c running on a single SPARC T5-8 server.
  • Both Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Database were virtualized with Oracle VM Server for SPARC. Both tiers communicated over physical network interfaces. Data files were distributed across 24 of Oracle's F40 Flash Arrays.
  • SPECjEnterprise2010 is a Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE)-based industry standard benchmark, which tests an end-to-end technology infrastructure that includes server hardware, Java Virtual Machine (JVM), database, operating system, storage and network subsystems.
