Oracle Development Tools User Group (ODTUG) Announces Newest Additions to Board of Directors

WILMINGTON, NC--(Marketwire - June 30, 2008) - Oracle Development Tools User Group (ODTUG) announced today that Tim Tow of Applied OLAP and Barbara Morris, Idaho National Laboratory, Idaho Cleanup Project have been elected to the ODTUG board of directors.

Tow is the founder and president of Applied OLAP and the visionary for the innovative Dodeca product. He has been working exclusively with Hyperion (now Oracle Essbase) since 1995 and his area of expertise is the Hyperion APIs, particularly the Java API. An Oracle ACE Director, Tow served as co-chair for the ODTUG Kaleidoscope2008 Essbase Development track at the conference last week in New Orleans and also presented multiple sessions during the conference. Tow is considered one of the world's most experienced professionals with Essbase APIs.

Morris brings more than twenty year's of technical experience with her to the ODTUG board. She is currently a principal engineer/scientist at the Idaho National Laboratory, Idaho Cleanup Project where she leads a team of other developers and architects in application development. She is experienced in Oracle Development Tools and Oracle Web applications and several non-Oracle tools, including MS Visual Basic.

The two newest board members officially joined the board on June 19. With the recent announcement from Oracle's John Kopcke that ODTUG is one of the best user groups for Essbase developers and architects, and ODTUG's Kaleidoscope conference is the successor to the Top Gun and Solutions conferences of the past, Tow and Morris will play important roles in the coming months as ODTUG ramps up to prepare for more presentations and more conferences.
