Orange County Event Combines Business Expo and Chamber Mixer for Ultimate Networking Experience

Chambers of Commerce Bring Together Local Businesses to Extend Contacts, Build Leads and Increase Memberships

ORANGE COUNTY, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 24, 2007 --

WHAT: Combining the business networking power of 29 Orange County chambers of commerce and business organizations, Orange County's Largest Mixer IV will take center stage at the Orange County Fair and Exposition Center in Costa Mesa, Thursday, March 8, 2007 from 5 to 9 p.m. Designed to be part expo and part business social event, Orange County's Largest Mixer accomplishes both by providing an "open feel" for the exhibitor's area. There are no strict space rules, booth sizes are designated and conversational areas exist for casual one-on-one discussions with new business contacts.

WHO: Orange County's Largest Mixer IV is hosted by the following organizations: Chambers of Commerce: Anaheim Chamber, Black Chamber of Orange County, Costa Mesa Chamber, Dana Point Chamber, Fountain Valley Chamber, Fullerton Chamber, Garden Grove Chamber, Hispanic Chamber, Huntington Beach Chamber, Irvine Chamber, La Palma Chamber, Laguna Niguel Chamber, Newport Beach Chamber, Orange Chamber & Visitor Bureau, Placentia, San Clemente Chamber, San Juan Capistrano Chamber, Santa Ana Chamber, South County Regional Chambers, Stanton Chamber, Tustin Chamber, and Westminster Chamber; Visitor Bureaus: Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau, Buena Park Convention & Visitors Office, Costa Mesa Conference and Visitor Bureau and Newport Beach Conference & Visitors Bureau; Business Organizations: American Business Women's Association, HSMAI-Orange County Chapter, and National Latina Business Women Association-OC Chapter.

WHY: The goal of the mixer, now in its fourth year, is to encourage membership in chambers of commerce, allowing businesses to grow based on a wider network of support. Each participating chamber of commerce and business group will have a booth with representatives to answer questions about their organization. The mixer also provides a chance for businesses to network with each other for mutual support. Businesses and individuals do not have to be affiliated with a chamber to attend and the event.

WHEN: Thursday, March 8, 2007 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

WHERE: Orange County Fair and Exposition Center, 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, 92626. Complimentary parking is available through the main gate off of Fair Drive.
