Orange Gives Subscribers a Better Memory With New Evernote Partnership

Mobile and Broadband Contract Holders to Receive Evernote Premium Subscriptions for Free

PARIS--(Marketwire - Dec 8, 2011) - Today, Orange and Evernote announced a partnership to deliver Evernote Premium accounts to all Orange mobile and broadband contract holders in France beginning in the first quarter of 2012. This initiative is part of Orange's new Personal Cloud initiative, aimed at delivering additional value to the company's millions of subscribers. The announcement was made today at LeWeb 2011 Conference, in Paris, France.

Orange is one of the world's leading telecommunications operators, and is one of the main European operators for mobile and broadband internet services.

Evernote is an award-winning application that allows individuals to remember their ideas, memories and experiences using any mobile, tablet and computing device. Starting early next year, all Orange customers in France will be eligible for an annual Evernote Premium subscription, normally $45, at no cost.

"The expectations for mobile devices are changing. People are no longer waiting to sit down at their laptops, they want to get things done wherever they are," said Phil Libin, CEO of Evernote. "Orange understands that offering the right applications is crucial to their users, so I'm honored that they have decided to add considerable value to their mobile and broadband offerings with Evernote Premium. Orange is changing what people expect from their communications provider and it's a great pleasure to be working closely with such an innovative company."

"With our own services and those of our preferred partners like Evernote, we want to broaden the range of services offered to our customers," points out Paul-François Fournier, Executive Director of Orange's Technocentre. "We want to make their lives easier, like a digital coach, by allowing them to switch easily between the digital and the real worlds, whether it be through music, video or personal content. Starting in 2012, Evernote will become a complementary part of the services provided by Orange and its partners."
