ORBIS Pull for Sight 2011 Across Canada

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 11, 2011) -

WHAT:Roll up your sleeves and get ready to pull, because the ORBIS Pull for Sight fundraiser is returning to Canada this summer! This first stop of the national plane pull campaign raises money towards supporting ORBIS's Kids Sight program to eliminate preventable blindness and transform the lives of blind and visually impaired children throughout the developing world.
Teams of up to 25 people will pull a FedEx 757 aircraft 12 feet in a friendly competition to see who can reach the finish line first. Teams can participate for a donation of $1,250 or $50 per person. All donations are fully tax receiptable. Admission is free for friends and family to cheer on the teams or participate in kid-friendly activities on site. Advanced team registration is required by calling toll-free at 1-877-672-4722 or emailing infocanada@orbis.org.
