Orbite Provides Four Environmental Studies to Governmental Authorities

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Feb. 24, 2009) - Exploration Orbite V.S.P.A. Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ORT.A) announces the filing with two governmental agencies of four environmental studies on both its Grande-Vallee, Gaspe Peninsula property and on it's proposed pilot plant project.

These four studies were indispensable and thus needed to be completed in order for Orbite to complete its business plan and the associated feasibility studies. The four environmental studies are:

The Environmental framework study - this study aimed at identifying the legislative and regulatory framework applicable to the production start-up, as well as to the impact of the appropriate laws and regulation on the project costs and schedule. The study clearly defined the authorization process required for the Company to achieve commercial production.

The Environmental characterization study - this study aimed at describing the environmental elements of the property. This analysis was necessary to properly identify the sensitive environmental elements and better understand the projects' environmental stakes. The study did not identify any particular concern that could compromise the project.

The Environmental description study - this study described the physical and biological factors within the Grande-Vallee property.

The Preliminary environmental study - this study targeted the "process tests" to be performed using our pilot plant. This report is required by federal governmental agencies.

The four studies were completed by the independent firm Roche Groupe Conseil inc. (http://www.roche.ca/asp/main.asp?lang=eng&menu=sitewebmenuindex)

"It will be the first aluminous clay exploitation to produce alumina in Canada. Orbite developed an innovative and environment-friendly technology and acts as a good corporate citizen by completing, early in the project, studies to better understand the governmental rules and processes in regards to ecological issues ", concluded Mr. Andre Vachon, Vice-president of Roche Groupe-Conseil.

"These four studies, for which the results were favorable to our business plan, were required to maintain our project development pace. The Preliminary environmental study was required in particular to obtain financing from the federal government. We are very pleased to have completed this step of our action plan ", declared Mr. Richard Boudreault, President of Exploration Orbite.
