Orchestro's Momentum Builds as CPG Companies Focus on Demand Orchestration

Company Increases Sales, Strengthens Executive Team and Accelerates Product Development Underscoring Solid 2014 Performance

MCLEAN, VA--(Marketwired - January 20, 2015) - Orchestro Inc., the market leader in demand analytics and orchestration, today announced continued growth for the fourth quarter and full year of 2014, along with continued customer adoption of its SaaS platform. Orchestro's platform provides advanced data harmonization across multiple data sources and retailers, delivering the insight that customers need to take informed action, improve on-shelf availability and effectively execute promotional events.

Highlights for the fourth quarter include:

  • Sales Momentum: Orchestro saw double-digit growth in SaaS bookings in Q4 2014 and for FY 2014.
  • Increased Adoption of Orchestro's Platform: Reddy Ice, the largest manufacturer and distributor of packaged ice products, selected Orchestro as its next-generation demand signal repository in Q4. Reddy Ice joins several other major brands who selected Orchestro during 2014.
  • Ongoing Product Enhancements: 2014 was a year of dramatic innovation within Orchestro's product suite. With the release of our Tango Cues pre-emptive analytics platform, our clients are able to easily pinpoint, prioritize and prevent service-level exceptions within their retail demand-chain.
  • New Chief Solutions Officer: Gary Maxwell, founder of Maxwell Value Chain and former senior executive at Walmart, has joined Orchestro as Chief Solutions Officer. A long-time member of our Advisory Board, Mr. Maxwell will lead Orchestro's customer-facing service enablement, engagement, education and delivery organizations.

A key trend that the company is seeing is the increase in smaller CPG companies implementing demand orchestration technology to improve retailer collaboration and increase sales through improved in-store execution. Studies have shown that as little as a 3% increase in on-shelf availability can increase revenue by 1%.

"We needed to capture, cleanse, and harmonize data from our largest retail partners -- to improve forecast accuracy and in-stock service levels," said Bobby Wehmeyer, VP of Supply Chain for Reddy Ice. "The Orchestro demand signal repository can scale rapidly to meet our requirements."

"Orchestro has continued to drive growth throughout 2014," said Stuart Van Houten, Chief Revenue Officer of Orchestro. "By consistently delivering innovative products to help our customers improve in-store execution and collaborate with retailer partners, Orchestro is in a competitively unique position to build on this strong foundation in 2015."
