ORHMA Welcomes Tony Elenis as President & CEO

"Tony brings an impressive combination of skills and experience which allow him to understand the issues and recognize the economic realities faced by the industry," said Stanley Goodman, Chair of the ORHMA Board of Directors.

Mr. Elenis has managed award winning hotels and he comes to the ORHMA after serving 27 years as General Manager of the Holiday Inn Select Toronto Airport. With more than 33 years of industry experience, his career in foodservice and accommodation has taken him to many diverse areas of the Province such as Sarnia, Windsor, Oakville, Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie. A leader in Ontario's hospitality industry Mr. Elenis has a proven track record of positive contributions to hospitality management, and he is dedicated to supporting the hospitality and tourism industry of Ontario.

Tony previously served as Chairman of ORHMA and sits on the Board of Directors for the Hotel Association of Canada (HAC), the Vintners Quality Alliance (VQA) as its ORHMA representative, and is part of the Executive Board pioneering the Ontario Culinary Tourism Alliance (OCTA). His proven leadership and strategic abilities will be indispensable in meeting the diverse needs of the ORHMA members and in enhancing the industry's competitive position. He recognizes that the Association needs to be continually progressive, and proactive in its approach to government.
